Step 2:  Choosing the Most Profitable Path

How do you plan on marketing your invention? As an inventor, you can't afford to take the decision on how you license and market your invention lightly. Great inventions, marketed incorrectly, damage your royalties.  If you make the wrong invention marketing choice, you will never profit significantly from your invention, no matter how great an idea you think it is. Depending on where your time constraints, savings, ambitions, strengths, and weaknesses lie, there are a number of possible routes to choose from. Not all of them are equally profitable, of course, and only one may be suited to your particular needs. An important question to ask yourself is whether the amount of money you plan on making from your invention is realistic or just based on wishful thinking. Step 2 will show you which marketing course and invention submission path you and your invention best fit into.
